Israel is a very important and interesting country with regard to knowledge transfer process. A lot of info about KT and entrepreneurship can be read in the nice book "Start-up Nation. The story of Israel's Economic Miracle". Netval has very good relations with Israel, especially thanks to the work of the Israeli Embassy in Rome and the Italian Embassy in Tel Aviv. In the past, Netval members have had the opportunity of participating to study tours in Israel and KT from Israel have come to Italy.
Netval and CRUI, in collaboration with the Embassy of Israel in Italy, Jotto (Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, Scuola Normale Superiore and IMT), the University of Milano-Bicocca and the University of Rome La Sapienza have organized three workshops on the public-private technology transfer issues and the new high-tech entrepreneurship.
More recently, another study tour has been organized by the State of Israel and "offered" to CRUI, which has asked Netval to support the organization. The study tour will start on May 20 and will end on May 26, with five full days of work and visits in Israel. The visit of the 15 people Italian delegation will include:
- Hebrew University
