Ecuador is a very interesting country and Netval has very good contacts in that country, mainly thanks to Prof. Enza Bosetti from Universidad Politecnica Salesiana (UPS). Enza is Italian and after many years of work in diplomacy and international cooperation now works in this very important university. UPS has its main location in Cuenca and is also present in Quito and Guayaquil. Its performances in education are very good; its results in scientific research are growing and it is also very interested in starting technology transfer activities. This is why it has started a collaboration with Netval.
It all started in 2016 when, from November 30 to December 2, Prof. Riccardo Barberi took parte to the III Congress of Science, Technology and Innovation for the Company at Universidad Politecnica Salesiana (http://citis.blog.ups.edu.ec/).
Prof. Riccardo Barberi (University of Calabria), on behalf of Netval, has visited a few universities in Ecuador to talk about Technology Transfer.
After that, an agreement has been signed and people from Netval have gone to Ecuador to teach about technology transfer in February and April 2017. The first course took place from February 20 to 23 and the second one from April 24 to 28, 2017.
People from Netval had the opportunity to teach and visit the three UPS campuses. Several collaboration projects are possible with Ecuador. If you are interested, you can contact Prof. Riccardo Barberi (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Prof. Enza Bosetti (email@example.com).
