Assembly
The Assembly is consitututed by Public Bodies (ordinary and aggregate), who appoint a technology trasnfer delegate or legal representative that will partake in person at the assembly meetings.
President and Vice-President
The President and Vice President of Netval are appointed by the Assembly from amongst the members of the Board of Directors for a period of three years, a maximum of two terms can be served by the same person.
For the three-year period 2023-2025, Eng. Giuseppe Conti (IUSS of Pavia) was reaffirm as President and Prof.ssa Maria Chiara Di Guardo (Università di Cagliari) was nominated as Vice President.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors (three-year period 2023-2025) is made up of nine members, including the President and the Vice-President, nominated by the Assembly from among the persons nominated by the ordinary members of Netval; it is chaired by the President and remains in office for a period of three years.
None of the members elected to the governing bodies receives compensation or attendance fees.
Treasury
Dr. Gesualda La Porta is the treasurer for the three-year period 2023-2025.
Daniela Traiani
Netval Secretary General, who, as part of the Association's activities, is in charge of liasing with the President, the Board of Directors and the Assembly of Members, for the organization and coordination of training activities and discussion groups, project monitoring. She also manages the administrative and financial activities. Graduated in International Economics and Finance in 2011 at the Università di Milano, she joined the Netval staff in the same year; in 2013 she obtained her Masters in Open Innovation and Knowledge Transfer at the MIP - Politecnico di Milano.
Claudia Daniele
Claudia Daniele has worked in the Netval secretariat since 2016. Graduated in Sociology at the Università di Pisa, she is in charge of analysing the Italian and European universities technology transfer landscape and of producing the statistical data for the annual Netval survey, since 2011. Since 2016 she has been involved in the implementation of Netval communication activities (newsletter, internal communications, website content and development and social network) and helps organizing the training activities and working groups.
Alessandra Pastori
Alessandra Pastori joined the Netval secretariat in 2020. Graduated in Economics and Commerce from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano, she is in charge of managing the administrative and accounting activities of Netval.
Camilla Castellani
Communications Officer for the Netval Association and the Knowledge Share project. After graduating from the University of Milan with a Master's Degree in Music and Performing Arts, she began his career in communications and press offices in the cultural heritage and travel and tourism sectors. She joined the Netval team in September 2022.Â
Shiva Loccisano
With a degree in Industrial Biotechnology and a PhD in Business and Management from the University of Turin, he has been involved in innovation, technology transfer and innovative companies since 2007. Since 2012 he has been in charge of technology transfer at the Polytechnic University of Turin and since 2022 he has been the sole director of Behold, the holding company that manages investments in spin-off companies from the University of Bologna. He is also a board member of several spin-offs and of Almacube, the incubator and innovation centre of the University of Bologna and the Confindustria Emilia Area Centro. He collaborates with Netval as Senior Project Manager.Â
Federico Novembrini
In 2018 Federico Novembrini, a graduate in Management Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino, joins the Netval team; he is currently project manager of the Knowledge-Share project.
Anna Giulia Sanarico
She holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the University of Rome Tor Vergata and a Masters in Healthcare Management from SDA Bocconi. She gained experience in consulting, at Deloitte, for the Healthcare & Innovation sector, and later in the VC world, at CDP Venture Capital. Anna joins the team in December 2022 to support the development of the Knowledge Share platform.Â
Gloria Padmaperuma
In April 2020 Federico was joined in his activity as project manager by Gloria Padmaperuma, PhD in Chemical and Biotechnological Engineering at the University of Sheffield.
Vincenzo Gallo
Medical Biotechnologist with a strong passion for innovation in life sciences and healthcare. 2 years' experience in the biopharmaceutical sector through R&D, manufacturing and regulatory affairs.Â
